In November our thoughts turn to gratitude for our blessings.  Going forward can we also be thankful for our challenges -for the people and events  in our lives that inspire us to reach beyond our usual limits and do what we need to do.



We don’t always look to individuals who are vulnerable as examples, yet if we look around us we can see exquisite illustrations of people who are responding gracefully to the vulnerability of aging or disability.  What would happen if we chose to see and model the wisdom that comes from that vulnerability?  Sometimes life offers essentia and unexpected lessons.
